POCKET THERAPY WITH TAROT (30 minutes/slot)
Pocket Therapy with Tarot is a 30-minute creative exploration using Tarot imagery, intuition and reflective conversation to uncover inner stories, gain fresh perspectives and consider your next steps. A non-clinical space to pause, get curious and connect with yourself. All sessions are held ONLINE.
We are only running this once a week. So please check our calendar for scheduling .
*You may extend an additional time block if time permits.
Start with a Question
Bring a question, a situation on your mind or something you’d like to understand about yourself. Open-ended questions can create more room for reflection:
Instead of “Will I find love?” try “What can I learn about my needs and patterns in relationships?”
Instead of “Should I leave my job?” try “What matters most as I consider my next career step?”
Instead of “Will things get better?” try “What is within my influence, and what could help me move forward?”
Come prepared with one area to explore, a little context and an open mind. I encourage to bring a notebook—and if you’re unsure how to phrase your question, we can shape it together.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
We’ll begin with your question and a little about what you’re navigating. You’ll then draw Tarot cards, and together we’ll explore the imagery, archetypes and personal associations that emerge, closing with key reflections and possible next steps.
What might you like to explore:
✦ Self-development and self-understanding
✦ Fresh perspectives on current questions
✦ Grief, remembrance and finding your own sense of closure
✦ Relationships, boundaries and recurring patterns
✦ Life transitions, purpose and direction
✦ Past-life-inspired stories as symbolic, imaginative explorations
✦ Creativity, intuition and new possibilities
Bring what feels meaningful to you—we’ll explore it with openness and curiosity.
Is this divination?
In Pocket Therapy with Tarot (PTT), we use the cards as a mirror for self-exploration. Their imagery and symbolism invite us to reflect on our feelings, beliefs and inner stories.
Drawing inspiration from Jungian archetypes, we explore the different parts of ourselves—the seeker stepping into the unknown, the nurturer caring for others, or the hermit seeking stillness.
What catches your attention in a card can become a starting point for understanding your experience and considering new possibilities.
Here, Tarot is approached as a creative exploration of the psyche rather than divination. The meaning emerges through your own associations and our conversation, with your choices remaining yours.
How does tarot play a part in therapy?
Through a Jungian lens, Tarot can be approached as a tool for individuation—the ongoing process of becoming more fully ourselves. Its imagery and archetypes offer prompts to explore our inner stories, recognise less familiar parts of ourselves and bring them into greater awareness. In this reflective approach, the cards invite a deeper understanding of our own unique identity.
