CLINICAL &
TRANSPERSONAL
REGRESSION
Clinical & Transpersonal Regression Therapy is a trauma-informed therapeutic approach that integrates clinical psychology, subconscious exploration, somatic awareness, and transpersonal perspectives to support deep emotional healing and lasting psychological change.
This approach may involve age regression or past life regression to help individuals gain insight into recurring emotional patterns, inner conflicts, or life experiences that may be influencing their present-day thoughts, behaviours, and relationships.
“Samantha is a wonderful hypnotherapist who genuinely went all out to support me in releasing traumatic blockages related to my past-life experiences, which had been affecting my present life. Now that I’m living life with great awareness and freedom, I am immensely grateful to meet the right persona at the right time to journey with me.”

DEFINITION
Age Regression is a therapeutic technique that guides individuals to revisit earlier life experiences or emotional states to explore unresolved memories, emotions, and behavioural patterns that may still influence their present life.
Past Life Regression is a transpersonal therapeutic approach that uses hypnosis or deep relaxation to explore symbolic narratives or experiences interpreted as past lives, helping individuals gain insight, emotional release, and deeper self-understanding.
PURPOSE
People may choose to engage in regression work for various emotional, psychological, and spiritual reasons, including:
To gain insight into recurring emotional patterns or life challenges
To explore unresolved childhood experiences or subconscious memories
To process grief, loss, or relationship difficulties
To reconnect with forgotten parts of themselves or inner child experiences
To explore symbolic or transpersonal experiences that arise during altered states of consciousness
To understand repetitive relationship dynamics or behavioural cycles
To cultivate greater self-awareness, clarity, and emotional integration
To explore spiritual curiosity and existential questions in a reflective and non-judgemental space
CTR PROCESS
CTR process model is a structured therapeutic framework that integrates clinical psychology, trauma-informed care, and transpersonal approaches to support deep and lasting transformation.
MYTHS ABOUT PLR
1. Myth:PLR means you literally lived another life.
Reality: PLR accesses material — symbolic, archetypal, or literal — that is therapeutically meaningful regardless of its ontological status. You are not required to affirm past lives to practise PLR.
2. Myth:PLR is the same as meditation or guided visualisation.
Reality: PLR operates in the Theta brainwave state with specific regression protocols, affect bridges, and therapeutic goals. It is a clinical modality, not a relaxation technique.
3. Myth:PLR is dangerous or will open doors that cannot be closed.
Reality: With proper ego-strength assessment, anchoring, and stabilisation protocols in place, Past Life Regression (PLR) is generally a safe and well-tolerated modality for many clients.
***However, it may not be suitable for every individual, particularly when significant dissociation, emotional instability, or inadequate grounding capacity is present. Consult your therapist before starting a session.
4. Myth: Only spiritually inclined people benefit from PLR.
Reality: Many clients who do not hold spiritual or reincarnation beliefs report significant therapeutic benefit from PLR — because the subconscious communicates through symbol and metaphor, not doctrine.
